Last one out take the flag!

Wikipedia defines a flag as a piece of fabric (most often rectangular ) with a distinctive design that is used as a symbol, as a signaling device, or as decoration. The term flag is also used to refer to the graphic design employed by a flag. Flags can stand for a lot of different things, like a nation state or something less tangible like an idea or cultural identity. Flags have been in the news lately. Across the country people are calling for the retiring of the Confederate flag which some say is a symbol of racism and oppression, others of history and heritage. Other’s are promoting the Rainbow Flag, a symbol of the GLBT community.

Time’s change, new idea’s are embraced while old one’s are discarded. Sometimes they are blended resulting in something different altogether…I bet you never saw this coming!

p.s. sort as an aside note the Rainbow Flag has been adopted but it’s earliest origins lie with the shamans in Machu Pichu and of course the Hippie Love Cult called Rainbow Family of Living Love maaan.
